WHAT IS THE PLATINUM JUBILEE?

The beginning of June 2022 marked the Platinum Jubilee, celebrating 70 years since the Queen’s Jubilee took place. Thousands around the country ran celebrations throughout the week, from June 2^nd to June 5^th. We decided to bring the celebrations into the office, as a way of engaging with team members and honouring Queen Elizabeth II’s journey and achievements.

THE CORONATION OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II

On 2^nd June 1953, Her Majesty the Queen was crowned in Westminster Abbey. The whole country joined in on the celebrations; in the UK, 27 million people watched the ceremony on television.

HOW OUR TEAM CELEBRATED

To celebrate 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II serving the country, on Wednesday 1^st June our team came together to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. Various competitions such as decorating the best themed work area and dressing up as Royalty for the day were held. The Platinum Jubilee was a great opportunity for the whole team at Your Claim Matters to come together and celebrate the Queen’s service to the country.
